Chantz Petruic scored twice including the OT winner while Philippe Bond made 56 saves to lead the Yorkton Hyundai Terriers to a 2-1 victory on Saturday night over the Estevan Bruins.
Troy Hamilton had the lone goal for the Bruins while Keenan Rancier made 24 stops in the loss.
The Terriers will return to action on Tuesday night when they visit the Weyburn Red Wings. GX94 will broadcast the game with the "Sask Milk" pregame show starting at 7:20 and the play by play kicking off at 7:30PM from Crescent Point Place.
Also on Saturday,
Jonathan Krahn scored the GWG with 6:55 left to lead the Melville Millionaires a to a 3-2 comeback victory over the Notre Dame Hounds.
Aidan Steinke and Zach McIntyre also scored for the Mils who got 26 saves from Berk Berkeliev in the win.
Riley Kohonick made 34 saves in the loss while Braydon Iwaschuk and Jarrett Penner replied with the goals for ND.
The Mils will return to action on Wednesday night when they entertain the Battlefords North Stars at the Horizon Credit Union Center.
MJHL
Saturday
Newly acquired netminder Parker Rey made 29 saves in his MJHL debut to lead the Swan Valley Stampeders to a 2-0 victory over the Neepawa Natives on Saturday night in Swan River.
Rey was acquired from the SJHL's Battlefords North Stars just one day earlier.
Ryley Lanthier and Josh Maucieri chipped in with the goals for the Stamps who'll return to action on Wednesday night when they visit the OCN Blizzard.
Elsewhere on Saturday,
Colin Ahern stopped 22 shots in his Waywayseecappo debut to lead the Wolverines to a 5-0 win over the visiting Winnipeg Blues.
Brody Moffatt scored twice for the Wolverines while Conrad Phillips, Reagan Rabbit and Jaymes Knee chipped in with singles.
Wayway is back in action on Tuesday night when they host the Portage Terriers.
