Jared Hamm (ND Hounds) score the only goal of the game with 23 seconds left in regulation to lead Team Kunitz to a 1-0 victory over Team Belfour to kick-off the SJHL/MJHL Showcase in Regina on Tuesday.
Melville Millionaires' netminder Berk Berkeliev turned aside 18 shots for the shutout while Matt Lenz of the Steinbach Pistons made 27 saves in the loss for Team Belfour.
Game 2: Team Mitchell (SJHL) 1 Team Zajac (MJHL) 4
Tanner Andrew (Virden) had 1G 1A to lead Team Zajac to a 4-1 victory over Team Mitchell in the 2nd game of Day 1.
Conrad Phillips (Waywayseecappo), Carter Sawchuk and Grady Hobbs (Dauphin) also scored for Zajac while Flin Flon's Donovan Houle-Villeneuve scored Mitchell's only goal.
Yorkton Terriers' Jordan Guiney of Team Mitchell chipped in with an Assist.
Dorrin Luding (Winkler) made 27 saves in the win while Nipawin's Ross Hawryluk (13 of 15) and Estevan's Keenan Rancier (12 of 13) split goaltending duties for Team Mitchell.

Game 3: Team Schwartz (SJHL) 2 Team Garbutt (MJHL) 5
Selkirk F Caiden Gault had 2G 1A to lead Team Garbutt to a convincing 5-2 win over Team Schwartz to wrap up the opening day in Regina.
Jayden McCarthy (Winkler), Brayden Foreman (Winnipeg) and Mitchell Joss (Winnipeg) also scored for Garbutt while replying for Schwartz were Tristan Shewchuk (Humboldt) and Aaron Greyeyes (La Ronge).
Winnipeg's Cooper Hatfield got the win making 27 saves while in the loss Tanner Martin of Melfort made 29 stops.
