Wolverines; Mils both fall on Friday Night

The Wayway Wolverines fell 7-1 to the Dauphin Kings to go down 3-2 in their Best of 7 series.

It got all started when Ryley Miller and Guillaume Naud would give the Kings a early 2-0 lead. But just with under a minute remaining Andrew Clark would cut it 2-1 with his 1st of playoffs.

Jeff Archibald and Tanner Butler chipped in with 2 more Kings goals to make it 4-1 after 2.

The Kings who were the better team all night would add 3 more in the 3rd to give them a 7-1 victory.

Jeremy Pominville stopped 18 of 19 shots for the victory while Brenden Fiebelkorn stopped 33 shots in a losing cause.

Game 6 will take place on Sunday in Way Way 7:30 MB. Kings lead 3-2.

The Melville Millionaires are on the brink of elimination as they fell 3-2 to the Notre Dame Hounds.
