Korczak plays hero to lead Yorkton Rawtec Maulers to round 2

 


Kaedan Korczak (pictured above) capped off his Hat-Trick just 7:28 into the 2nd overtime period as the Yorkton Rawtec Maulers booked their ticket into round 2 of their Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League playoffs, with a 4-3 Game 4 win over the Notre Dame Hounds on Thursday night.

Korczak scored his 1st 2 goals on the night late in the 2nd period after the Maulers got out to an early 3-0 deficit.

Jordan Respch had the other goal for the home team while Jordan Schumland made 44 saves on 47 shots in the win.

 Qaritag Kusigak-Clark, Brad Morrissey and Thomas Casey scored for the visiting Hounds.

The Maulers win the Best of 5 Series, 3 games to 1, their Semi-Final opponent is still to be determined
