Stamps/Neepawa deadlocked for final playoff spot after Wednesday MJHL action


After Wednesday's night MJHL action, the Swan Valley Stampeders and Neepawa Natives are now tied for the 8th and final spot in the standings.

In Portage, McKenzie Dwyer scored 1:33 into OT to lead the Terriers to a 4-3 win over the Swan Valley Stampeders.
 
Connor Navrot led the way offensively with 1G 1A for the Stamps, who blew a 3-1 lead in the 3rd period.

Jack Leblanc and Keaton Jameson also scored for the Stampeders.
 
Meanwhile in Neepawa, the Neepawa Natives got 2 goals from Justin Metcalf as they slipped by the league-leading Steinbach Pistons 3-1.
So the Stamps and Neepawa both sit at 44 points with 2 games remaining.

Swan Valley will host Waywayseecappo on Friday while Neepawa will host the Dauphin Kings. The two teams will then meet in their final game of the regular season on Sunday night at 6:30PM from the Yellowhead Center in Neepawa
