Maulers lose Game 1; Prairie Fire season comes to end on Thursday night

Kaleb Bulych, Zack McIntyre and Beau Stevenson scored for Yorkton but it wasn't enough as the Rawtec Maulers fell on the road, 9-3 to the Regina Pat Canadians on Thursday night.

Preston Brodziak (1G 3A) & Alexander Kannok Leipert (4A) led the way for the Pat C's with 4 points each as they take a 1-0 series lead in the Best of 5 Semi-Final.

Game 2 will be tomorrow night (Sat) back in Yorkton from the Farrell Agencies Arena at 8PM.
Also, the game will have a guranteed 50/50 jackpot of $1000, compliments of Jason Bulych & Powerich Fertilizer - Esterhazy.

The Melville Prairie Fire had their 2016/17 season come to an end on Thursday falling 3-1 on the road to the Prince Albert Bears in Game 3.

Hannah Koroll had 2 goals for the Bears while Abby Soyko had the other.

Regan Nichol replied for the Prairie Fire while Ashlyn Taillon made 51 saves on 54 shots in the loss.
 

The Bears will now take on the Saskatoon Stars or Swift Current Wildcats in the Sask. Female Midget AAA Hockey league championship series
