In the MJHL,
The Swan Valley Stampeders had their record drop to 3-3-2 on the season after a 3-1 loss to the Winkler Flyers on Friday night.
Coltyn Bates had the winner in the 2nd while Garett Kuklica added some insurance for the Flyers in the 3rd.
CJ Corazzin (WINK) & Jaden Townsend (SV) exchanged goals in the 1st period to open up the scoring.
Aaron Brunn made 29 saves on 30 shots for the win while Brett Evans took the loss in the Swan net making 39 saves.
The Stamps go right back at it on Saturday night when they visit the Portage Terriers at 7:30 MB time.

In the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League,
The Melville Millionaires lost their 3rd straight game on Friday night, 5-2 to the Battlefords North Stars.
The Stars got out to an early 3-0 lead on goals just 4:39 apart of the sticks of Keith Anderson, Josh Sielsky and Connor McIntosh
After a scoreless 2nd period, the Mils would storm out with 2 goals in the first 4:16 of the 3rd frame from Montana Streit (1st SJHL goal in 1st game) and Daniel Liberty to make it 3-2 North Stars. But the home team just a short time would score 2 goals, 41 seconds apart on the PP from McGregor Sinclair and Conor Jensen to put the game out of reach.
Kolby Matthews made 18 saves on 20 shots in the Stars' net for his 1st SJHL win while Mils G Connor Dochuk made 28 saves in the losing cause.
The Mils wrap up their weekend road trip on Saturday night when they visit the Kindersley Klippers at 7:30 from the West Central Events Center.
Meanwhile in the Nipawin,
The Yorkton Terriers dropped their 2nd straight game, losing 5-0 to the Nipawin Hawks.
Brendan Arnold had 2 goals 1 assists to lead the way for the Hawks while Josh McDougall, Michael Grant and Keillan Olson also chipped in with goals.
The Terriers next game will be on Tuesday night when they host the Nipawin Hawks at 7:30 from the FAA.
