The Swan Valley Stampeders snapped a 4 game losing streak on Tuesday night, with a 2-1 win over the Dauphin Kings.
The two teams exchanged goals early on with Tanner Garnham netting one for Swan early in the 1st and McCullogh Park responding for the Kings early in the middle frame.
Quintin Sudom would get the GWG, his 2nd of the season with 4:21 to go in regulation.
Brett Evans (pictured above) was rock solid in SV net making 37 saves for the win while Brennan Kitchen made 26 saves for the Kings in the loss.
The Stamps next game will be on Friday night when they visit the Steinbach Pistons.

In the SJHL,
The Yorkton Terriers dropped to 2-9-2 on the season after a 6-2 home loss to the Nipawin Hawks on Tuesday night.
Keillan Olson had a pair of goals for Nipawin while Brandan Arnold, Carter Doerksen, Austin Mikesch and Davin Smith also scored for the Hawks.
Cole Keenleyside and Shane Sherban replied for the Terriers.
Hawks G Jake Anthony made 23 saves on 25 shots in the win while Nolan Maier made 44 saves in the losing cause.
The Terriers' next game will be on Saturday night at Affinity Place when they visit the Estevan Bruins for a 7:30 puck drop.
Meanwhile in the Wilcox,
The Melville Millionaires nearly erased a 3-0 deficit but their comeback came up a little bit short losing 5-3 on the road to the Notre Dame Hounds.
Chaz Smedsrud led the way for the Hounds with 1G 3A while Chance Longjohn also had 2 goals 1 assist. Tim Gould and Sam Robinson also scored for the Hounds.
Trevor Paradise, Cory Schillo and Jaden Shewchuk scored for the Millionaires.
Jack Ryan made 18 saves for the Hounds in net while Colby Entz turned aside 30 of 34 shots in the losing cause.
The Mils next game will be on Friday night when they host the front-end of a home and home series with Humboldt Broncos at 7:30 from the Horizon Credit Union Center.
