Terriers; Stampeders both lose in Tuesday Night Junior A Recap

The Yorkton Terriers fell in a Viterra division battle, 4-3 to the visiting Estevan Bruins on Tuesday night.

Kaelan Holt, Jake Heerspink Zack Goberis and Jack Kilroy scored for the Bruins while Cody Bruchkowski had 2 goals for the Terriers while Will Brochu had the other.

Max Sidelink make 36 saves for the win in Bruins goal while Logan Bateman turned aside 45 shots in the loss.

The Terriers next game will be on Friday night when they visit the Nipawin Hawks at 7:30

In the MJHL,

The Swan Valley Stampeders had their record drop to 3-2-2 on the season after 2-0 home loss to the  Dauphin Kings at the Centennial Arena in Swan River.

Brennan Kitchen made 29 saves for the shutout in the Kings while Grady Hobbs and Riese Gaber had the goals for Dauphin.

Stamps goaltender Brett Evans turned aside 23 of 25 shots in the losing cause.

Swan Valley's next game will be on Friday night when they start a road trip in Winkler against the Flyers at 7:30PM MB time.
