The Saskatchewan High School Regional Soccer Championships were held this past weekend.
In
the 2A Boys Championships in Kipling, the Yorkton Sacred Heart Saints captured
the Gold Medal after a 12-2 win over the Notre Dame Hounds.
The Saints
now advance to the 2A Boys Provincials this weekend in North Battleford.
In the 3A Boys Championships in Regina, after a 8-0 win over Balgonie in
their first game, the Yorkton Raiders fell in the Championship game 3-0 to the
Swift Current Colts.
In the 2A Girls Championships in Yorkton, Gold
Medal Game had Saskatoon Marian Graham blanked Saskatoon Bishop Mahoney 1-Nil.
