Melville Millionaires, Swan Valley Stampeders & Waywayseecappo Wolverines swing separate deals


MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES





The Melville Millionaires have swung a deal with the Olds Grizzly's.

The Mils have dealt 20 year old F Shane Sherban (pictured above bottom) to the AJHL club in exchange for fellow 20 year old forward Josh Borynec  (pictured above top).

Sherban, a product of Lanigan SK scored 9 goals, 17 assists for 26 points in 44 career games with the Moneymen. This season he chipped in with 2 goals and 9 points in 13 games.

Borynec, hails from Carvel, AB had 32 goals, 44 assists for 76 points in 181 career AJHL games.

He has compiled 3 goals, 3 assists for 6 points in 12 games this season.

The Mils also acquired on Wednesday 19 year old forward Michael Wong from the MJHL's Winkler Flyers for a player development fee.

The Calgary AB native had 8 points in 26 games last season with the Flin Flon Bombers.


WAYWAYSEECAPPO WOLVERINES





Meanwhile the Wayway Wolverines traded the rights to 18 year old defenceman and Lorette MB product Cole Dekonick to the Dauphin Kings for 18 year old F Jaymes Knee (pictured above).

Dekonick, a former 1st round MJHL draft pick of the Wolverines in 2015 started the season with the SJHL's Weyburn Red Wings before being acquired back by the Wolverines.

Meanwhile, the Brandon MB product Knee was named to the MJHL's All-Rookie team in the 2017/18 season, after he had 37 points in 58 games.

This season he had 2 goals, 3 assists for 5 points in 10 games



SWAN VALLEY STAMPEDERSThe Swan Valley Stampeders have picked up 19 year old D Troy Quinn from the Cornwall Colts (CCHL) for future considerations.

Quinn, who stands 6'4,  hails from Nepean, Ontario and had 5 points in 43 games with the Colts last season.
