For the first time since March of 2015, the Melville Millionaires won a road game in Nipawin.
The Moneymen beat the Hawks, 3-1 on Sunday night for their 2nd straight win.
Noah Wills got the scoring going just 34 seconds into the 1st as he went top-shelf on Chase Hamm for his 15th of the season to make it 1-0.
The score would stay like that until late in the 2nd when Bryden Kiesman jumped on a rebound in front of the Mils net and was able to sneak it through Jared Thompson to make it 1-1 after 40 minutes.
The Millionaires regained their one goal lead just 5:56 into the 3rd period as Noah Wills' long shot deflecting in off the stick of Jake Spak, for the 20 year olds 8th of the season to make it 2-1.
Despite a late push by the Hawks, it was Enrique Fontes icing it into the empty net to wrap up the scoring.
Jared Thompson was solid in the Melville net stopping 27 of 28 shots for his 7th win of the season, while Hawks' G Chase Hamm made 17 saves in the loss.
The Millionaires return to action on Tuesday night when they to Crescent Point Place to take on their Viterra division rivals, the Weyburn Red Wings.
