Leslie's OT winner helps Fort Knox to 1-0 thriller over league-leading Regina Capitals

The Fort Knox picked a good way to snap their 4 game losing streak as they beat the top-ranked Regina Capitals 1-0 on Wednesday night at the Fort Rexentre.

Both teams had some top notch chances throughout the first 3 periods but it wasn't until Overtime where the only goal would be scored.

Knox captain Logan Leslie took a nice feed across from Cody Chasse and he would slip it five-hole on Capitals net minder Thomas Spence for his 4th of the season to give the home squad their 8th win of the season.

Shane Blomquist was outstanding in the Knox goal stopping all 38 shots he faced for his 1st shutout of the season. Thomas Spence made 22 saves on 23 shots in the loss.

The Knox return to action on the weekend with a couple of games on home ice. Fort will host Assiniboia on Friday & the North-division leading Saskatoon Quakers on Saturday night with both games happening at 8PM
