Evans' 1st MJHL shutout leads Swan Valley to a 3-0 blanking of Neepawa

After dropping a couple games over the weekend, the Swan Valley Stampeders got back into the win column thanks to their goaltender.

18 year old Grandview MB product Brett Evans (pictured above) made 35 saves for his 1st MJHL shutout to lead the Stamps to a 3-0 win over the visiting Neepawa Natives at the Centennial Arena in Swan River.

Jason Cohan, Jack Leblanc and Brian Harris scored for Swan Valley in the first period to provide the offence.

The Stamps head back on the road on Friday night as they'll visit the Winkler Flyers for a 7:30 face-off.
