Meger's 36 save shutout snaps Mils 2 game win streak on Wednesday night.

The Melville Millionaires had their 2 game winning streak come to and end as they fell 3-0 on home ice to the Viterra-leading Estevan Bruins at the Horizon Credit Union Center.

After a scoreless 1st period, the Bruins would get on the board 1:50 into the 2nd as Jake Fletcher would knock home his 13th of the season to make it 1-0. Then at the 9:35 mark, it would be Lyndon Pastachak sniping home his 20th of the season to make it a 2 goal game. It would stay like that until 38 seconds left in the middle frame as a nice tic-tac-toe play would be finished off by Jayden Davis for his 4th to make it 3-0 Bruins after 2 period with the shots being 30-26 Estevan.

The Mils would have some good opportunities in the 3rd period which they controlled outshooting the Bruins 10-2 but they weren't able capitalize.

Bruins netminder Curtis Meger made 36 saves on the night for his 2nd shutout of the season while Colby Entz was once again solid in the Mils' net stopping 29 of 32 shots in the losing cause to drop his record to 8-4 on the year.

The Mils return back to home ice on Friday night as they welcome former Mils forward Keegan Milligan and the Nipawin Hawks at 7:30.
