The Melville Millionaires have acquired 18 year old defenceman Eric Soar from the Nipawin Hawks in exchange for 20 year old F Keegan Milligan and 2017 5th round pick.
Milligan, who hails from Emerald Park, SK was the Mils leading scorer with 11 goals, 23 assists for 34 points in 37 games this season.
Meanwhile Soar, a Moose Jaw product was in his 2nd year with the Hawks and so far this season had 1 goal, 13 assists for 14 points in 34 games this season.

The Millionaires also sent 20 year old Teal Sobkowicz to the Estevan Bruins to complete the futures in the Dec. 7th deal that saw the Mils acquire 17 year old Logan Foster.
The Outlook SK product had 12 points (7G 5A) in 21 games with the Mils this season.

The Moneymen traded 19 year old G Brandon Wells to the Spruce Grove Saints for a PDF & future considerations.
The Spirit River AB product had a career record of 20-24-1 with the Mils. This season he had a record of 8-15-0 with a 0.924 SV% and a 2.80 GAA.
In a corresponding move, the Mils acquire G Brett Friesen (97) from the Selkirk Steelers for the rights to 20 year old Liam Shaw and a PDF.
Friesen who hails from Carman MB had a 7-4-0 record with the Steelers while sporting a 3.74GAA and a 0.873 SV%.

Mignault had 7 goals, 4 assists for 11 points in 30 games split between Portage & Wayway this season. Last year with the MMAAAHL's Kenora Thistles he had 45 points in 39 games.
Paquette who was acquired from the Grande Prairie Storm had 2 points in 4 games
