The SJHL’s Melville Millionaires have announced they have let go Head Coach and General Manager Devin Windle (pictured above left).
Assistant Coach Kyle Adams (pictured above right) will take over as Interim Head Coach/GM
Windle was in his third season as bench boss with Melville who currently sit with a 8-16-4, good for a third-place tie with the Weyburn Red Wings in the Viterra Division.
"There's a few reasons, but standings-wise its not where we want it to be, I'm sure Devin would say the same thing. But it was just something we wanted to step forward and that's why we made the move," Mils President Dwayne Kraft said in a phone interview with GX94 this morning.
Kraft also said he would like to thank Devin for his time and dedication to the organization and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
Adams' will make his debut as Interim Head Coach/GM tonight tonight (Fri) when they host the Nipawin Hawks at the Horizon Credit Union Center.
