After an outstanding weekend of volleyball, it was the Moose Jaw Vanier Vikings who proved to be Kings of the Court in the Rail City.
The Vikings won their first ever SHSAA 4A Boys Provincial Volleyball title after defeating the Osler VCA Lions in 3 sets in the Gold Medal game on Saturday night in Melville.
The Vikings who were coached by Melville-born Levi Broda defeated the Lions 15-13 in the final set to earn the title.
Meanwhile the host Melville Cobras were able to earn a medal on home court sweeping the La Loche Lakers in two sets to earn their 2nd straight Bronze Medal.
