The Swan Valley Stampeders remained atop of the MJHL standings on Wednesday night after a 5-4 victory over the Virden Oil Capitals at the Centennial Arena in Swan River.
20 year old's Brad Goethals and Josh Tripp led the way for the Stamps with 1G 2A each while Matt Osadick, Brian Harris and Alex Uryga chipped in with singles.
Brett Paddock and Dylan Halliday led the Oil Caps with 2 goals each in the loss.
Michael Davis made 22 saves in the Stamps' goal to improve his record to 11-1 on the season.
