Terriers take latest Highway 10 battle over Melville 

Chantz Petruic scored his 7th, 8th and 9th goals of the season to lead the Yorkton Terriers to a 5-2 victory over the Melville Millionaires on Saturday night.

Brett LeGrandeur and Jordan Mis also scored for the Terriers while Booker Chacalias and Luke Nkwama replied for the Moneymen.

Phillipe Bond turned aside 39 shots in the Terrier net to get the W while Hunter Adams allowed 5 goals on 45 Terriers shots in the Mils' cage.

The Terriers will return to action on Wednesday night when they host Notre Dame while the Mils are also at home on Wednesday when they entertain the Estevan Bruins

Wolverines' snap 2 game slide with win over Steinbach at home 

Jaymes Knee had 1G 1A including the game winner at the 8:19 mark of the 3rd period as the Waywayseecappo Wolverines defeated the visiting Steinbach Pistons 4-2 on Saturday night.

Reagan Rabbit, Tyler Leibl and Noah Westgate also scored for the Wolverines who got a 16 save performance from reigning MJHL Goalie of the Month Thomson Phinney in the win.

Dylan Cassie and Zach Purcell replied for Steinbach.

The Wolverines will return to action on Thursday night when they visit Tundra Oil & Gas Place to tangle with the Virden Oil Capitals.
