Spadafora's 5 point night leads Mils to 7-4 home victory over Yorkton

Reigning SJHL Rookie of the Year Luke Spadafora had 3 goals and 2 assists to lead the Melville Millionaires to a 7-4 victory over the Yorkton Terriers on Friday night.

Rin Beny, Nic Porterfield, Jonathan Krahn and Luke Nkwama also scored for the Mils who 20 stops from rookie Kaleb McEachern for his 1st SJHL victory.

Chantz Petruic scored his 12th and 13th goals of the season to lead the Terriers while Steven Norum and Alec Zawatsky chipped in with singles.

Terriers netminder Phillipe Bond made 17 stops in the loss. Cooper Kennedy made 4 saves on 6 shots in relief.

The Mils and Terriers both are on home-ice on Saturday night, Melville will host Weyburn while the Terriers entertain the Flin Flon Bombers at the Farrell Agencies Arena. Both are 7:30 puck drops.
