Yorkton Terriers (SJHL) News and Notes


 Terriers welcome back 19 year old G Ryan Ouellette

The Yorkton Terriers announced on Monday that 19 year old goaltender Ryan Ouellette has returned to hockey club.


The Colorado Springs, Co product began the year with the NAHL's Minnesota Wilderness where compiled a 3-2 record, 2.71GA and 0.913 SV%.

Last year with the Terriers, Ouellette had a regular season record of 17-13-0 with a 3.72GAA and 0.897SV%.

He was also  outstanding in the Terriers run to the SJHL Semi-Finals with a record of 6-7, 2.91GAA and 0.921 SV%.


Terriers F Guiney named SJHL Player of the Week



1999 F Jordan Guiney (Victoria BC) scored his first four goals of the season this past week over the course of three games played and he registered five points total.  Guiney scored twice against Estevan on Wednesday and then added another goal and one assist on Friday versus La Ronge. Guiney capped the week with the overtime winner on Saturday against the Ice Wolves.  He now has 4-goals and 13-assists in 15-games on the year. Runner-up: Easton Haygarth, Flin Flon.
