Terriers & Mils partner with Children's Wish Foundation for Wish Games this week

The Melville Millionaires and Yorkton Terriers have partnered with the Children's Wish foundation of Canada (Saskatchewan chapter) to hold Wish games in their respective communities this week.

On Thursday in Melville, it has been designated as a Wish game. Wish Ambassador Brielle Johnson will join the Captains of the Mils and the visiting Flin Flon Bombers at center ice for the ceremonial face-off.

The Millionaires will also be selling OYOs, a lego type toy which was specially designed for the Mils. All proceeds will go to the Wish foundation to help grant the most heartfelt wish of a child in Saskatchewan who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Meanwhile on Friday in Yorkton it will be their Wish Game.

Wish ambassador Paige Hansen who is a cancer survivor will do the honour of singing the National anthem. Also "I WISH" bracelets and raffle tickets will be sold at the game with all proceeds going to the foundation.

The Children's Wish Foundation extends a huge thank you to the Mils and the Terriers for their support. We count on the support of the community minded heroes, like the Millionaires and Terriers and their fans, to help create the magic of a wish!
