The MJHL's Swan Valley Stampeders held their annual general meeting on Wednesday night at the Westwood Inn in Swan River.
At last nights (Wed) meeting, it was announced that Pat Morden will return for his 2nd stint as President of the hockey club.
"I'm honoured too, it's kind of what's old is new again as I was previously President in the earlier days of the franchise, but given the timing of my life right now it worked out good, and I'm eager to come in and start working again", Morden said in a phone interview on Thursday morning.
Morden also says that Wednesday's AGM was good one and the team announced a profit of just shy of 16-thousand dollars from the 2017/18 season.
"I think the mood was good and anytime you can report a positive bottom-line, that's kinda what you shoot for at the start of the year when you do your budgeting"
Morden also added that along with himself, they is also two more newer board members in former Stamps governor Warren Clark (new Vice President) and Brian Gilroy.
They join 5 board members in Rod Pidskalny, Trevor Warburton, Kim Kosokowsky, Jarett Mosiondz and Cramer Coulthart who will return to the board for another season.
