After wrapping up his Senior season with the RIT Tigers (NCAA), former Yorkton Terrier Chase Norrish made the jump to the ECHL’s Colorado Eagles and hoisted the Kelly Cup as a league champion on Saturday in Florida.
The Eagles captured
their second consecutive ECHL title, defeating the Florida Everblades by
a score of 3-2 in Game 7 of the ECHL Championship Series.
Norrish, a Strongfield SK product had 1G 5A for 6 points in 20 reg.season & playoff games with the Eagles this season.
He had 67 points in 128 games during his 4 year career with the Rochester Institute Technology Tigers.
Norrish played with the Yorkton Terriers from 2011 to 2014 and helped them win 2 SJHL Titles, 1 Western Canada Cup and the 2014 RBC Cup National Championship.
