Terriers' capture 4th straight after road victory over Humboldt

The Yorkton Hyundai Terriers captured their 4th straight on Friday night after a 6-4 road victory over the Humboldt Broncos.

The Broncos struck first just 70 seconds in as Tristan Shewchuk finished off a nice pass from Logan Foster and he tapped home his 26th of the season to make it 1-0 lead. The Terriers responded though 6:05 later as Colby Vranai caused a turnover deep and then slid it over to Brett LeGrandeur who got his 7th of the season, a goal that came short-handed to make it 1-1 just 7:15 in.

Shewchuk would add his 2nd of the night just over a minute later to regain the Broncos lead at 2-1.

Steven Norum evened it up late in the 1st finishing off a nice passing play from the Taphorn twins to make it 2-2 after 20 minutes.

In the 2nd, the Terriers grabbed their first lead of the night just 1:28 in as Steven Norum's behind the back pass found Jordan Guiney back-door for his 16th of the year to make it 3-2 then Gavin Ingram's 1st SJHL goal made it 4-2 for the visitors after 2 periods.

Ingram, who hails from nearby Quill Lake added his 2nd of the night halfway through the 3rd to make it a 5-2 game.
