Danny Griffith scored for his 1st MJHL goal for Swan Valley but it wasn't enough as they dropped their road-trip finale, 5-1 on Monday night to the Steinbach Pistons.
Ty Naaykens led the way for the Pistons with 2G 1A while Zach Purcell, Tanner Mole and Declan Graham chipped in with singles.
Matt Lenz was solid in net for Steinbach making 44 saves on 45 shots while Stamps' G Mikael Foucher turned aside 40 of 45 shots in the loss.
The Stampeders' now will have a few days off before they host the Virden Oil Capitals on Saturday night at the Centennial Arena in Swan River.
