The finalists have been announced for the Athlete of the Year awards ahead of the upcoming Saskatchewan Sport Awards in Saskatoon next month.
Locally, Team Delores Syrota which consists of Syrota, Bev Krasowski, June Campbell and Sylvia Broad are a finalist for the Master Athletes of the Year after capturing the Provincial and National Masters Curling Championships in 2019.
Meanwhile, Yorkton's Sherry Pasloski will be rewarded with a Coach Dedication award for her work with Special Olympics Yorkton and may other organizations around the area including Bocce Ball, Five-Pin bowling and the Yorkton Storm Swim Club.
The gala event where the award winners will be on March 26th in Saskatoon.
