Kilback's 2 goals leads Mils to Game 2 win over Kindersley

The Melville Millionaires held on to take Game 2 by a score of 2-1 to take a 2-0 series lead in the Best of 7 series.

The opening frame had a lot of chances both ways but it would end with a scoreless 1st period.

In the 2nd period, it would be the Millionaires getting the lone goal of the middle frame as TJ Constants slap shot from the point would get deflected home by Allan Kilback for his 1st goal of the playoffs to give the Mils a 1-0 lead after 40 minutes.

It would stay like that until towards the midway point of the 3rd period when Eric Pouliot would send one towards the net that would beat Isaiah Plett five hole to even it up at 1-1. But the Mils would once again find a way to pull ahead as It would be Kilback again picking up the garbage and putting it by King to give the Mils a lead, and they were able to hold on for the 2-1 Game 2 win.

Isaiah Plett stopped 34 shots for his 2nd straight win, while Tyrell King once again was tagged with the loss.

The Mils now with a 2 games to none lead and will host Game 3 & 4 respectively on Tuesday and Wednesday at the HCUC. 7:30 start
