Analysis: This might be one of the most intriguing match-ups come the SJHL Quarter-Final round, both teams had similar overall records during the regular season and had the same amount of overall points at 74. The two teams met 4 times during the regular season, and both won 2 (1 in regulation, 1 in the shootout).

Up front, the Mils are led by a couple 20 year olds in 3rd year Millionaire and Captain Colin Mospanchuk who could dominate a hockey game with his speed and size, and newcomer Kelvin Walz who was acquired at the beginning of the season from Lloydminster Bobcats of the AJHL for a minimal price and he has been a huge surprise for the Mils, chipping in with 20 goals and ranked in the Top 10 in scoring in the SJHL. 19 year old Allan Kilback who hit the injury bug earlier on in the season, and is back healthy and he will need to be huge for the Mils up the middle. The Mils will also need a huge series from 5 year Junior veteran TJ Constant, Landong Farrell, and 20 year old Sam Williams. For the Klips it doesn't get much bigger than the Kinderlsey Klippers forwards, they have 4 guys over 6'3" tall and need all those guys to be a little more physical during playoff hockey. A healthy Gio Bombini and Cody Thiel will strengthen an already dangerous and Klips attack.

On the backend, Alec Brandrup has come in as a 20 year old rookie on the blueline and chipped in with 29 points during the regular season, and has been one of the Mils top blueliners all season. Adam Dibella, and Adam Koopman the two Mils D with the most SJHL experience have to take their game to the next level, while Simon Genereux and Cole Berreth need to chip in with offence on the backend and will be very important on the Mils PP. Kindersley might have had the most underrated defense throughout most of the regular season with Austin Yano, Jared Pilet and Shaw Watkins and then you add Shaun MacPherson back from the WHL to make it even better.

The goaltending matchup is almost as good as you can get as two of the top goalies in the SJHL would battle as Tyrell King and Isaiah Plett are put up against each other. Plett came as a rookie in the SJHL and kind of as an unknown, but he has been everything Jamie Fiesel has wanted and more, playing alot of great minutes for the Mils and he needs to be the best player in these playoffs. You could say the same thing about Tyrell King in the Klips net, he has had an outstanding season and if Ryland Pashovitz was having such a solid rookie season, he couldve been the Kramer Division Goalie of the Year. So it could more than likely which goalie is able to perform over the other that might be the difference in the direction this series goes.

Mils Head Coach GM/Jamie Fiesel
