Analysis:
When you look at the standings you might think this matchup is one sided, but then you look at head-to-head matchups for the regular season it might be a little tighter of a match-up then people think. For the Stamps up front you know they can put the puck in the net with 3 goals with at least 20 goals (Flanagan, Provencher, and Erb) and rookie of the year finalist Carter Johnson had 19. But up front they are led by Hockey Ability Award winner Max Flanagan who had 36 goals and he needs to be the Stamps best forward. Also the Stamps have been getting good contribution down the stretch from Bo Sigurdson, Jagger Thomas and Brayden McDonald if these guys can chip in it will go a long way for SV. For the Oil Caps they are led by 18 year old Corey Haverstick who is in 2nd season of Junior hockey he had 25 goals during the regular season while Arty Kalashnikov has been their biggest surprise, a player they picked up at the beginning of the season has been everything and more for them so far but some key guys for them might be veteran 20 year olds Robbie Newton and former Yorkton Terrier Curtis Oliver who has plenty of playoff experiece and a SJHL Canalta Cup title under his belt
.
On the backend the Stamps are anchored by two 20 year old cogs who need to log alot of minutes in Dylan Hykywy and local product Evan Morden who are looking to extend their junior careers a little longer, while 20 year old rookie Andrew Howard who has surprised one needs to continue his hard nosed style in the playoffs. Also Youngsters Gavin Froese and Will Holtan who have showing glimpse of great play, need to be that and more for this back-end. For the Oil Caps, Kevin Pochuk has been outstanding since he was sent down to the WHL and has chipped with an impressive 30 points from the backend while Wyatt Kalynuk at only 16 years old can also provide some offence.

The most intriguing matchup between these two teams might be between the pipes as Virden possesses last year's MJHL goalie of the year in the Adam Iwan who can single handily take over a series with his play and has a very reliable backup in 19 year old Kyler Beckett. Meanwhile for the Stamps it has been a carousel of goalies in some sorts 4 different goalies have made starts for the Stamps this year (Armstrong, Holowenko, Petersen and Hunt) but there is 2 options for the Stamps now, they will either go with Graham Hunt who joined them just after Christmas after Nathan Armstrong remained home for personal reasons and Hunt has looked solid for Swan since joining them. The Stamps could also go with Cole Holowenko who has had an up and down season and a season marred by inconsistency and injury but has the skill and ability to also take control of a series. So should be a very tight and close series , a series I'm sure will got 6 or 7 games.
