McGonigal with the heroics as Knox take Game 2 in Assiniboia

The Fort Knoc now have a 2-0 lead in their PJHL South division semi final as they came all the way back to defeat the Assiniboia Southern Rebels 5-4 in overtime. 

Devin McGonigal got his third goal of the game just 17 seconds into the overtime as he would go forehand back hand over top of goalie Nate Ferris for his 3rd goal of the playoffs to give the Knox a Game 2 win. Ryley Stefanyshyn had another big night with 1G and 4A while Bryton Beattie had the lone other goal for the Knox. 

PJHL Top scorer Tucker Neuberger had 2 goals and 1 assist to lead the way for the Rebels. 

Josh Switzer stopped 29 shots for the win in goal for the Knox while Nate Ferris turned aside 26 in a losing cause. 

The Knox will try to make it a 3 games to none lead as they host Game 3 on Wednesday night at 8pm from Fort Rexentre.
