After a Friday night loss to the Battlefords, the Yorkton Terriers rebounded in a big way on Saturday night by defeating the Weyburn Red Wings on the road, 11-2.
Jared Legien had 3G 2A while Quin Hobbs (pictured above) chipped in with his 1st SJHL Hat-Trick to lead the way offensively.
Colby Brandt, Chantz Petruic, Mason Mullaney, Kishaun Gervais and Brendan Mark also chipped in with goals. Branden Klatt had 4 assists in the victory.
20 year old Andrew Henderson turned aside 17 saves on 19 shots to earn his 1st victory in a Terriers' uniform.
Dawson McKenzie and Justin Plett replied for the Red Wings.
The Terriers' next action will be on Friday night when they visit the Notre Dame Hounds in Wilcox.
Elsewhere in the SJHL,
The Melville Millionaires dropped their 5th straight game on Saturday, losing 5-2 to the Battlefords North Stars.
McGregor Sinclair led the way for the North Stars with 3G 1A while Joel Gryzbowsk made 25 saves in the win.
Tristan Shewchuk and Sam De Melo scored for the Moneymen in the loss.
The Mils' return to action on Friday night when they host the Flin Flon Bombers at the Horizon Credit Union Center.

The Swan Valley Stampeders earned their 27th victory of the season on Saturday, hammering the Winkler Flyers 6-1 at the Centennial Arena.
Brad Goethals (2G 1A), Alex Uryga (1G 2A), Josh Tripp (1G 2A), and Jaden Townsend were catalysts offensively for the Stamps with 3 points each while Tucker Scantlebury and Campbell Balk also chipped in with 1 goal & 1 assist each.
Stamps' netminder Merek Pipes turned aside 37 shots to earn the victory.
Swan Valley will return to action next Saturday night when they visit the Portage Terriers at Stride Place.
Meanwhile in Portage,
The Portage Terriers doubled up the Waywayseecappo Wolverines 6-3
Reilly Funk, Orca Wiesblatt and Ocean Wiesblatt led the Terriers with a goal and 2 assists each.
Jake Bestul, Greg Lee and Kylar Fenton replied with the goals for the Wolverines.
The next game for the Wolverines will be on Saturday night when they host the Steinbach Pistons.
