The Wayway Wolverines now are just 2 point away from the final MJHL playoff spot after a 3-2 victory over the Neepawa Natives on Wednesday night.
Greg Lee and Brandon Lawson led the way offensively for the Wolverines with a goal & an assist each while 20 year old Karstin McDonald scored the GWG with 5:20 left in regulation time.
Isaac Labelle made 18 saves in the Wayway goal to earn his 14th victory of the season.
The Wolverines will look for back to back victories on Friday night when they visit the Steinbach Pistons.
