The Western Hockey League trade deadline is also taking place today and one local product was moved.
The Edmonton Oil Kings announced they traded 18 year old F and Yorkton product Brett Kemp to the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for 17 year old F Josh Williams.
Kemp has 22 goals, 17 assists for 39 points in 40 games this season with the Oil Kings, his 3rd WHL season.
