What did Waywayseecappo, Yorkton, Melville and Swan Valley do at the CJHL Trade Deadline?















YORKTON TERRIERS



The Yorkton Terriers acquired 20 year old G Andrew Henderson from the Notre Dame Hounds in exchange for a player development fee.

The Maple Ridge, BC product is currently in his 3rd year of Junior hockey and first with the Hounds.

So far this season in 23 games he has a 8-11-3 record with a 3.16GAA and 0.908 SV%. He has also earned one shutout.

The Terriers were in search of a goaltender after 20 year old net minder was picked up by the WHL’s Swift Current Broncos on Wednesday. 


-Yorkton also traded 20 year old D Karstin McDonald to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines for future considerations 

McDonald, a Turtleford SK product had 17 points in 92 career game with the Terriers. Currently this season he had 1G 7A for 8 points in 33 games

MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES 


The Melville Millionaires picked up 19 year old F Michaell Boutoussov from the Winkler Flyers (MJHL) in exchange for future considerations. 

In 34 games split between the Flyers and Neepawa Natives this season, the Anaheim product compiled 5 goals, 10 assists for 15 points.

SWAN VALLEY STAMPEDERS


The Swan Valley Stampeders have traded 20 year old forward Tanner McKechnie to the Virden Oil Capitals for future considerations.

The Regina product had 7 goals, 20 points in 35 games with the Stamps so far this season

-The Stampeders made a 2nd trade of the day with Virden trading the rights of 17 year old F Jesse Mistelbacher to the Oil Capitals in exchange for future considerations.

The Ile Des Chenes, MB product had 1 assist this season in 15 games with WHL's Moose
Jaw Warriors.

WAYWAYSEECAPPO WOLVERINES


The Wayway Wolverines have swapped defenceman with the Portage Terriers.

The Wolverines dealt 20 year old Morgan Poirier to the Terriers in exchange for 18 year old D Jackson Tonnies.

Tonnies, a Swift Current product had 4 assists in 25 games with the Terriers this season while Poirier (Jasper, AB) had 11 goals and 20 points in 36 games this season with Wayway.



The Wolverines have acquired 17-year-old Forward Kieran Thiessen from the Steinbach Pistons in exchange for the CJHL Playing rights of Nico Labossiere.

The Landmark, MB native has scored 21 goals and 24 assists with the Eastman Selects (MB Midget AAA) this season.


The Wolverines' last trade of the day seen them deal 20 year old F Riley Vautour to the Steinbach Pistons in exchange for F Trent Halfdanson (00) and futures.

Halfdanson (Winnipeg) had 2 goals, 4 assists for 6 points in 30 games split between Steinbach and Winkler this season.

Vautour was in his 2nd season with the Wolverines and had 23 points in 35 games so far in 2018/19.
